FBI Takes Off
The F.B.I. has been given the go-ahead to set up its own air force.
In a little-noted action last week, the House Appropriations Committee approved $5.3 billion for fiscal 1975 - to cover budget items requested by the Justice, Commerce and State Departments.
In the past, the F.B.I. has been given permission to lease aircraft on a case-by-basis while engaging in criminal investigations. The new bill permits G-men to begin purchasing airplanes and setting up a small F.B.I. air force. --ZODIAC
