Fleming Officially At U-M Helm: Robben W. Fleming, the University's ninth president, sits at his U-M desk officially for the first time. He succeeded Harlan H. Hatcher today, Formal inaugural ceremonies are scheduled for 3 p.m. March 11 in Hill Auditorium. Fleming, formerly chancellor at the University of Wisconsin, arrived on the U-M campus last fall to begin preparing for his new duties. He will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Dean's Conference Room of the Administration Building.
