PROJECT PERCEPTION

"Programs for Motor City Youth" (Sun, July 1) inadvertently omitted a youth service program called Project Perception. Geared for those youth aged 6-16 who live in the Wayne State University area, and those who have transportation to the area, Project Perception has a summer program aimed at those interested in media and the arts. The program consists of camera workshops, field trips, movies, and related activities.

Sponsored by the Research Park NonProfit Housing Corporation, Project Perception supplies the cameras, materials and instruction. All a youth needs is his or her ideas. Transportation for occasional field trips is the only cost. For more information, call  873-0327, or drop by at the program office at 1419 W. Warren (formerly St. Dominic's Elementary), Tuesday-Thursday, after 10:30 a. m.
