Harris Campaign Organizes In AA

Over thirty people attended the first meeting of a local Fred Harris for President committee on June 11 at Dr. Ed Pierce's residence. This group was an offshoot of ex-Senator Harris' appearance in Ann Arbor on April 26 at the Campus Inn. During the meetings steering committee was formed to coordínate plans for an information campaign during the Ann Arbor Art Fair. Other possibilities mentioned for the near future included arranging a band and truck for the Ypsilanti 4th of July parade.
